About

Hi, my name is Kate Lloyd. My current dog Maddy is a dear little dog who came from a shelter; she’s now getting on in years but still loves showing me her all her clever tricks. My previous dogs include my handsome scruffy boy Badger, a mixed breed from a shelter who went on to star in movies and win ribbons in many dog sport endeavours,  and my gorgeous girl Jinx – Belgenbeau Fuzzy Logic – a Belgian Shepherd Laekenois (Rough-haired variety). I look forward to welcoming a new dog into my home soon 🙂

My interest in dog training has developed from my experiences with training my own dogs and the dogs I have fostered. I believe that, when undertaken with understanding, dog training improves a dog’s quality of life and strengthens the pet-owner bond.  I strive to continue to learn all I can about animal training techniques, to use this knowledge in teaching dogs and to pass these skills on to my clients.
